Weinfest

All summer long in Germany someone, somewhere is having a Weinfest. We are bringing that tradition here so join us for good food and good wine!

The Germans have a long tradition of winemaking with history going back to Roman times. No less a figure than Charlemagne is supposedly responsible for founding the Rheingau wine-growing region and the longest continuous planting of Riesling in the world is in the Mosel river valley.

Our menu this year will include Venison, Poached Cod, Veal Veronique, Zwiebelkuchen (onion quiche), Chicken Salad and Apricot Bavarian Cream. Add a glass of wine and there’s no better way to spend a summer evening!

We look forward to seeing you at Weinfest! In addition to the great food, we will feature wine samples, wine flights, and wine related prizes. It’s a celebration of wine!

Each day we will feature a wine from our cellar. Diners will be offered a free 2 oz sample of the day’s featured wine. It's a great chance to try something new! See below for list of each day’s featured wine.

WEIN STAMMTISCH
(WHERE WE’RE TALKING ABOUT WINE)
Interested in learning a little more about wine? Visit the Wein Stammtisch, a table set up for more wine tasting and discussion. Someone will be there to answer questions, pour a few samples and offer suggestions for wine and food pairing. Light snacks provided also!

Prizes!
Enter our grand prize drawing to win your own winemaking experience! We are partnering with Vine Park Brewing Company ( www.vinepark.com ) to give you a chance to make your own wine. Choose your own grapes, design your own label and, after a few months, go home with your own, unique wine! A $245 value! Enter throughout Weinfest. We will draw a winner on August 2nd.

Every night we will give away a bottle of wine to one lucky diner!
